Islanders Statement Regarding Cancellation of 2020 NBSBL Season

We are disappointed to learn of the 2020 New Brunswick Senior Baseball League’s season being cancelled. Our players were looking forward to nothing more than playing in front of our fans this summer. 

The unfortunate travel restrictions caused by COVID-19 along with difficulty to attract sponsors has affected both us and the rest of the teams in the league. 

Our club along with other teams in the league plan to meet when conditions improve to devise a plan for the 2021 season.
